i guess you could attribute it to the group i hang out with (the punk and hardcore kids) but i have a slight beard working. nothing long or anything..just scruff and i think the look is awesome. how bout from a female stand point?

Clean shaven most of the time, gotees look good on some guys. The look I hate is the "shaggy" look from Scooby Doo where it's obvious the guy can't really grow a beard but tries to anyway and just looks like a loser. The rugged look when a guy doesn't shave for a couple days looks good but hurts to kiss so I say keep it smooth and kissable.

I personally like the goatee look. A full beard just looks like a small animal curled up on yer face. Plus the goatee has benefits with it as well for the ladies if you know what i mean>wink>

I'm not female but I myself have a van dyke. I come across many women who like/love my facial hair and then there are always some that don't. I go with what I like. OH I am biker and DO fit the biker image. This may play a part as there are alot of women who like the biker look.

Well my husband has a goatee and I like it. I think he looks better with a goatee than with a clean shaved face. Just as long as he keeps it trimmed and looking good.

I like clean and shaved faces because I like that baby look :)My boyfriend says that when he is not shaved he looks more sexy but I don't like that look.All depends from girl to girl so do what YOU like!

i think it depends or wot suits you best, i like clean shaven,but a bit of nicely trimmed looked after is good too,not scruffy though.

not all girls like clean shaven guys..many like bearded, frenchie and guys with moustaches...they feel masculine abt the hair...i feel they look smart..but depends if it suits ur face!

i think if u keep a lil' beard it's sexy & believe me i 'm a girl.
boys should have a ruff 'n' tuff look instead of clean shave.

I don't like the scruffy look--but I do like facial hair. If it is groomed well, then go for it!
