No, don't you have a weather channel where you're at? If you are in North America you would know that even in the northern areas of Canada it gets warm. Southern Ontario...hot hot hot!!! not all year. Last year when I lived in southern Ontario we hardly had any snow at all.
Now I live in Newfoundland. It wasn't as sickly hot as Ontario in the summer(but there were a few really hot days(&I am now much further north). Winter remains to be seen for me here as of yet but so far the fall weather really isn't any different than Ontario.

I moved to Canada many years ago escaping the hot wheather of the tropics, only to find that a couple of decades later Canadians would choose a right wing government that is so much into promoting global warming that yesterday, at the Nairobi's conference on global warming, we sank at the bottom in the list of countries that are intent into destroying the world.
No, it's not Antartica-like any longer; not even Artic-like which should've been closer to the way this paradise was originally designed.

LOL a lot really do for some stange reason. I worked at a gas bar when i was a teen, A family on vaction stopped for gas and the father asked how much farther it would be to the snow....In July. I explained to him that he was more south in Ottawa than some of the northern states. ( wierd positioning eh?) They had skis on the roof racks and were fully prepared for some winter fun
I think he mentioned something about white water rafting before leaving

I know as a fact that it can be very cold, I've been there once and it almost froze the socks off my feet !

It doesn't mean I disliked Canada...I do think it's a great place, but it sure isn't warm !!

I'd be very disappointed with anyone who thought Canada is in Antartica. At least in the UK we have geography lessons.
