Scientists have managed to classify certain countries as being the fattest, thinnest, most smokers, etc. So is there a country that is the funniest or where most of its people have a sense of humor?

How can we go about conducting such a survey? I propose we randomly call people in different countries and tell the same joke and see how many people in each country laugh.

Any suggestions?

Australia. Look at our kangaroo. A giant jumping rat. Hilarious. And our platypus. A swimming rat with a duck's bill that lays eggs and has fur....very funny.

To conduct a survey, all you need to do is ask people on the street if they can recite their national anthem off by heart. The country whose people can't complete the task is the funniest.......

India.

I am from India... but that's not why I am standing beside India.

People in general here are funny. We have jokes on every single topic of life. We can laugh at ourselves (just like the Americans).

Our national animal is the Royal Bengal Tiger but we don't give a hoot. We shoot it down and are slowly gonna send all of its kind to heaven.

Our politicians screw us and we vote for those who screw us and be funny about it. Search "Laloo Prasad Yadav" on Google. Just look at the guy's face.

Our movies are mostly comedies where the villain laughs and shoots every man (other than the hero and heroine in sight) and we laugh. We laugh at the ketchup blood and stupid acting.

We have more spoofs than the movies.

We laugh when we smash into someone's vehicle.

We laugh when we smash someone's window glass pane.

We laugh when we flunk at exams.

We laugh at everything.

Search for "Navjot Singh Sidhu" on Google and see him laughing.

Out of the countries I know....

The English are too "droll" and "dry"

The French are too "political and serious"

The Portuguese are too "insulting"

The Spanish are too "slapstick and obvious"

The Scottish are pretty funny, but too loud!

I'd say the Irish have to be number 1 - but I haven't travelled outside Europe....

I don't think we could ask them all to tell the same joke... How about a humour show - with one person of every nationality doing a sketch on a similar subject, to see who pulls it off the best??

;-)
