I once recieved payment for an item that I sold on Ebay and then recently sold something else. I am being charged a fee for receiveing money, but I wasn't charged this fee previously when I got money from someone (I just checked on the history on my Paypal account). Anyone know why I'm being charged this fee?

Is is maybe because previously the person who paid me, paid with funds already in their paypal account, rather then from their bank account linked to Paypal?

im led to believe they charge you if the other person is using a credit card if they use a debit card they dont

If you have a sellers account you will be charged a small fee for payments received into your account, if your not sure as to your account status contact ebay and they will tell you, you may need to change it.

You always get charged a fee for recieving paypal payments, its free for the sender.

They charge you different amounts depending on how much is transferred from someone else. Check the help section under fees.

Call 0208 605 3000 for help with ebay paypal, they'll sort out your problem direct rather than via email.

Have you upgraded your account to accept Credit card payments? if so that's why
