try pressing control alt then the down arrow.. press them all at once and it should set your monitor up the right way... Its just a shortcut that u've pressed to enable the screen to be turned on its side for ease of use when typing long letters in Microsoft Word, or long spreadsheets in Excel. ;) hope that fixed it for ya :)

Ctrl+Alt+Up key...once your screen is back to normal go to control panel and and look for the icon that is for your monitor and have a look through the tabs, you should find a tab that says enable screen rotation.
Why they decided to give you an option to work with your screen at an angle is beyond my comprehension!!!
