Are alot of you embrassed to say where your parents work?... If so why? My mum works for a watersports company and my dad works with pumps... im not embrassed...i think there pretty interesting.... :] Alot of people i know dont like talking about where there parents work... i mean i understand why but yeah...

It's really too bad if anyone is ashamed of where their parents work; at least they have jobs and support the family!

No, I'm not ashamed to say that my mom is a housewife, and that my dad works at a paper plant. He's been there for over 40 years and will retire in 5 months

I think it has more to do with not wanting to talk about your parents at all. When I was growing up my dad was in the Army. I was very proud of him for that. When he got out he did a lot of odd jobs before he moved to his current career. Now turns out he is the leading expert in his field in the nation. I still think it is funny that my dad went from being a soldier to being some expert.

Nah I'm not ashamed... my Mum works in a hospital cleaning, thats in the morning and in the evening she works in council offices cleaning.... bless her.... I told her she should get a desk job, less strain on her back and legs but she dont want to..
And my Daddy is a crafts man and he also helps out at the local Youth Hostel in North Wales.... YAY!!

It depends what your parents do, and how old you are.
Children at school can be very cruel to each other if they think that your not up to there standard.
