Ive come across a few of these American types who seem to have inflated air pockets in the backsides of their trousers(pants). It makes it look like their bottoms are really HUGE.Is this a new fad over there and do you think it will catch on in England.

They do it so that it won't drop so easily as it did after Vietnam..now that we have Afghanisthan, Iran, Iraq, Korea...all lined up behind uncle sam, waiting for his trousers to drop... the rest can be upto your imagination..!!

The White house,(PRESUMABLY the White house!),did something like this last year,(it had to be a gimmick!),with G.W.Bs secret surprise visit to the troops in Iraq-he was standing on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier, giving a speech, dressed "TOP GUN" mode, and the first thing that struck me was the incredibly large bulge in his nether region, along with his large thick ARNIE type thighs, and DALLAS/DYNASTY type shoulders-the second thing i noticed was that the real "TOP GUNS" on the flight deck along side him-the real hero's,were just normal looking guy's,not a bulge in sight...inflated sense of self-importance?...a White house gimmick?...or just a coupla socks!?! No,it won't catch on here!!

Are you talking about the sagging pants where the boys let their pants hang below their behinds? It's a ridicules fad, one I wish would go away because it looks so stupid. I hope it never comes to England.

I just spent four weeks in New York and noticed no inflated bottoms! Are you sure you weren't imagining this? I did see a lot of obese people!
