No such thing as a jealous friend, hun. Yep, she sounds jealous - but she ain't no friend. If she was she'd bite her lip and try her best to be happy for you.

Be lucky.

do what you feel deep down is right.
what are you gonna do, dedicate every thurs night to your friend forever?
I was in the same situation a while back, sunday night was our night but I met this bloke(now my hubby! ; p )and decided to meet him on a sunday night ... what a row she caused!what kind of friend was i? didn't i know blokes come and go? how could i dump her? ahhhh! weeks and weeks she went on!
are you sure your coming what about your new b/f?!
thing is, she did get over it, mainly because i refused to apologise.
i mean apolgise for what, spending time with someone i like?
life is about change and you cannot ever gaurantee that for the same day every week, you wont have have to change-rearange your plans.
tell your friend what i told mine(nicely lol)
grow up and get over it!
as long as you still make time for your friends, never forget them and dont let them down-disrespect them..your doing all right

good luck with your new man, hope you get things sorted out

have a great day
x

Its been a ritual for you and your friend and now that's changing for her she probably feels put out and is loosing her mate
you haven't dumped her just asked her to change days which is very reasonable I think you should go out with this guy and see what happens.

If your friend is a true friend she will be happy for you to find someone. what will happen the next time you meet someone and she doesn't like you rearranging your nights out. Friendship is supposed to be give and take and supporting each other.

I think she may be a bit jealous of you, maybe she liked having a single friend at her beck and call because it suited her. It is your life and there are a whole lot of people out there that would be your friend. Go out with this guy, guilt free and enjoy yourself.

Good Luck

You go for it have a good time and I hope it works out for you.
She wants to go out thurs, fri, and sat ; that's why she's got the hump. she expects you to have dates the same time as she does so that her life doesnt get effected. Don't worry too much she'll get over it...
All the best.

In your case you be the good person and suggest like you go double dating or something(if you too nervous to be alone-its a great idea) Tell her if she cant understand that you also want to be involved with someone and have a partner in life then she's just being selfish and inconsiderate to you and your feelings and needs... if thats the case you can get better friends than her... You think you know someone because you know them for years but they can end up being the nastiest person you've met...

from past experience - friends last longer than partners. Discuss how you feel and come to an arrangement about the thursday night thing. If you are meant to stay friends then this will resolve the matter or you could decide to go out on a thursday altogether if either relationship lasts.

hi, if she was any sort of friend she would put your happiness first and be glad you have found someone who has made you happy, i would go out with this guy but next time make sure it doesn't fall on your girls night out, as the relationship grows more serious youare bound to want to spend more time with your new man how will she react then, the only thing you can do is till go out with her from time to time and try to make her see she is just as important to you but you need your own space aswell...it does sound like she is jealous or immature but if it was her would she be as inconsiderate....

you dont base your life on your friends feelings because
the maine thing she bugging you on is the maine thing she will
do live your life and so what if you only know the guy for 2 weeks
going out with him is how you get to know him for longer than
2 weeks if she has her dates that she gos out with and shes
not complaining about hers then you do your thing or you tell
her that if you cant go out on yours dates than neither can
she and see if she listens to you

doll your not wrong. She sounds a bit jealous to me. If she could go on with her life then you go on with yours. Im sure she will regret how she acted and apologize. Just give her lil time to think on her actions.
