When I turn on my Work PC it comes up with a BLUE screen and a message saying:
page_fault_in_nonepaged_area
if this is the first time you’ve seen this stop error screen, restart your computer and follow these steps....
if the hardware or software has just been installed... blah blah blah but there is no hardware of software that has been installed.....
except my ipod which I wanted to just charge... any ideas what it may be?

It could just be that the software i.e. windows is not installed correctly .It could mean you have a virus. It could be your memory (RAM) . Maybe your hard drive has had its day . The list goes on. The usual scenario is to work it out by the golden rule............ . Is this caused by hardware or software ? Consider re-installing windows with a good CD. If after windows is installed and you still get the blue screen then its the hardware. Swop out the physical memory replace it with a new chip . Did this work ? If not maybe your hard drive has a problem. If your partitioning the disk always do a slow format .Using the quick format of ntfs often does not remove viruses. It could be that all your drivers are not installed correctly check your graphics card is seated correctly and check that all drivers are installed in device manager .

its a memory alloaction fault.
When your computer just starts up keep pressing F8. this will give you a menu. Choose last known good configuration and hope that will work! if not repeat and choose safe mode. In here you can remove the Ipod software!
It propably was the Ipod software so be careful if you try and load it again

you in elementary terms ought to discover the reason. Is the code an identical every time, or is it random? a bad stick of ram could reason bsod with random codes. merely flow to Microsoft's internet site, they have a memory try application for unfastened. additionally, a bad driving force could reason this besides, meaning random codes. merely flow to start up/run and style verifier . Then create a standards record, choose all unsigned drivers, and go out. the subsequent time you get the bsod, if a driving force is at fault, you will get extra information. alongside with, "The sound driving force has tried to deprave the equipment, and abode windows has been close right down to avert injury on your computing device." Now if the code is often an identical, then merely flow to Microsoft's internet site and notice what it is.

The PC is looking for that other HDD (The I-Pod), it saw for the first time the other day.
If you can... F8 at bios initiation, and "Safe mode" >MY Computer (Rightclick desktop icon)> Properties>hardware tab>Device manager. Browse to the I-Pod right click and select uninstall.
Restart and properly install the I-Pod.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
