I just read another Carl Hiaasen book and I have to say, I LOVE this guy. He is so sarcastic, smart, funny, and twisted! One of the characters is a steroid junkie and an ex-cop/con who gets humped to death by a dolphin! Seriously! How does someone dream up that kind of thing? The guy is a genius.
Has anyone else read him and agrees with me?

Ya he is nice and good one but I agree to nayccana that O.henry he has something in him . first time I read his short story "ransome of the red chief " and then there began a hunger to read him more . I know you liked carl hiaasen and u was expecting all answers in yes but every one has own liking . and by the way carl hiaasen is also rocking so where its required to rate authors lets read all and have fun . when we decide favourites somewhere unintentionaly we deny to read something better in front of our favourite one and its with musicians singers actors actresses all . Isnt it so??

I love Edgar Allan Poe,he's my favorite writer.He wrote especially horror and fiction books which are my favorite.
