Who can come up with the most creative/exciting/romantic ideas for a marriage proposal?

Are you a soccer fan?
If yes then announce it at a big game( ask for time and microphone before or during half time),
which you both attend at with all your friends and family. (make sure everybody knows what you're talking about and most importantly whom)

Mybe I've watched to many love stories. But I've always thought the most romantic way to be proposed to is to have a candlelit dinner somewhere with a good view preferably night time. With both parties dressed in formal wear and music playing in the background. Then maybe a ride in a horse and buggy. To a park or maybe a place that has lights and fountains and being proposed to there. It must be a quite place with just the two of you.

What's her favorite animal?
Maybe take her somewhere she can see a fav animal and arrange beforehand for the keeper of this animal to put the ring that's in a box and tie it around the animal someway and then you lead her to the animals for her to pet or whatever and she'll see the box and you can encourage her to see what it is.
When she grabs it have the worker(s) come out with 12 dozen long stem red roses and give them to you to give to her and then get down on one knee and spill out your heart and ask her.
There's one idea.
Another is to get a good friend or relative to hide somewhere and watch the ring that you'll tie to a branch and have it hanging down for her to see and go on a "walk" with her and then lead her to where the tree is where the ring is hanging. Make sure to have it at her eye-level. Plan this to be a picnic, perhaps, so when you get to the spot she'll definetly see it hanging there.
Then give her your biggest grin when she finds it and as she takes it get down on one knee and do your thing....
That's what my hubby was going to do.... but he was too anxious and asked me two days earlier than that! hehe

Cater you proposal to her fantasies. (I told my friend to propose to his lady, a Disney freak, to propose at Disneyland) Being in S Africa, that's not too real a possibility. My point is, think about what she is crazy about, and personalize it to her. Be creative and she will never forget it!!!!

Make a scavenger hunt for her in a park or somewhere. Leave a clue at each place and put the ring at the last place. Be willing to look her in the eyes and tell her how much you love her as you ask her to marry you (on one knee of course). Be sure you get her father's permission first!
