UK Politics? Michael Meacher? Tony Benn? Claire Short? which is why they are no longer acceptable in the mainstream of the Government agenda (an extremist agenda).
In the US, Ron Paul? or Dennis J. Kucinich?
Again, this is why they are not in the mainstream. the mainstream represents and promotes a lie that the system is honest, democratic and not corrupt. When in reality, the WHOLE system is a complete sham covering for a financial elite that are stealing the whole country.

My vote would have to go to Jimmy Carter. Even though he isn't currently serving, he is still a part of the political scene. I don't agree with many things fmr. President Carter believes, but I do believe he is being totally honest whenever he speaks... in relation to his own mindset.

To tell you the truth, I don't think any of them are really honest. Whenever I vote or ally myself with a political party, I choose the lesser of the two evils.

Well this is a relative term. "Honest to whom ?" is the question. All are honest to a class or section of a class to which they belong. And all are dishonest to rest and vast majority.

my vote for most honest person in politics goes to our former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee..even thou politician are not honest,they work for their welbeing.i find atalji little different from them.
