how many times can the same question come up?

2006-11-13 21:33:47 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 1 0

A very complex question, with thousands of viewpoints.
This is how I see my life, as a big school where I learn my lessons. What I have learnt so far is that life can only have some meaning if you stop thinking about yourself and think about other people. By doing this you will feel more useful and happier. Things will seem to come your way more easily. There is the perspective where you can only achieve inner peace and balance if you look deep inside yourself and try to be in touch with your own mind. By doing this you will be in permanent contact with the universe, and see that life is nothing more than an illusion, and how mistaken we are about the things that we take for granted and permanent.
So in conclusion, I see my life as an opportunity to free myself from all illusions and by doing this I am able to see things more clearly and help others to share the same peace of mind.
Complex? Yes. But the question is complex as well.

I encounter all sorts of things when I am out and about in my daily life, some of the I encounter I find more lifelike than the rest, and some I find contrasting to one another, and some turn out to be different I nature after a while. For example, I meet with all sorts of people: the people who make me value what I have I life, and the people who try to make me feel low I myself. It happens fast, and at times, I do make mistakes and I so falter along the way. And then I feel as if I have lost a bit of myself there, or with someone. I am never sure who is to blame, and how to blame. But I always kick myself afterwards, and ask – why did I let this happen to me?

How can I make sure that I always choose the right things, make right decisions and associate with right kind of people? It is so hard to judge merely on the basis of what I see at a glance. It is even harder for me to recover from my mistakes. These are the situations so numerous in my life as they are, if I may say so, in the lives of other people like me. All this makes me too ask - what is this all about? What is the meaning of my life?

I cannot imagine how could there have been Life if it were not for the ones who live? Even when life exists it remains meaningless as long as there is no purpose to live it by. I see all around me is transitional, things, people, situations all change, and keep changing endlessly. I am often confused and baffled by this constant change. I try to keep up with it, and sometime I do lag behind. Then I ask – who am I, I the observer of all this? What is my opinion? What is my personal stand upon what is happening in the world immediately around me?

Life to me is like that of a newly born child, and it always remains like this. The meanings of life change according to the one who live it, as their understanding change. But at the heart of it all remains the same innocence, eternally preserved. Life is the purpose you have in mind; it is an objective, a mission, a wish, a passion, hope or love. It is an opportunity to find out what we can wish for and how much we can love. It is all about who are we - life is not a question, the question is – who am I? To which life is the answer.

We live so that we may return to God as a spiritual being that is a wiser, kinder, more loving and in all other ways a closer representation of God who made us in his/her image. The meaning of life is to experience days that are filled with love, joy, peace, kindness, creative inspiration, healing and mercy. These are the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It is also our true nature. It is the creative vibration that creates the energy for all life. It is the force that vibrates the "string" in string theory. Each of us should progress each day on the path that has been illuminated for us by the Holy Spirit. We should stay in harmony with this creative vibration. If this is accomplished when you come to the end of this path you will welcomed home by the Holy Mother who will share with you eternal love, peace and kindness.

to honest with you. i think life is a story that has already been written for us. we go through things (good or bad) for various reasons. we don't even know why for some of those reasons, and at times we find out even if its in a matter of minutes of maybe years down the line. try not to analyse it because it could drive you crazy trying to out the meaning, Just live it to the best you can whilst your here. leave the rest to history

It lies between our beginning and our end.
All that is left is to do something with it.
I hope when my end is near, I'm happy with what I've done with my life.
