where does the hair from the weaves come from?

I suppose it's for the same reason some white women color their hair blond.

We don't have fake hair. We have real hair. However some of us wear weaves just like the some white and Hispanic girls. Most of the hair comes from Asia.

Because the styles that fake hair has, black women`s hair can never get like that. It`s horse`s mane and tail they use to make those wigs and some times real human hair it is preserved. Some one (hair dresser) once asked me to buy my hair(long) for that purpose. Passed on it

White women have fake hair too. Do you think Paris Hilton has short hair one time, and then "Wham", the has long hair. She uses hair extensions, as a lot of white girls do, they think it is cute, and the same for the black women. I think it is pretty, so there. I am not a black woman, but I think their hair dos are nice.

They are man-made material.... synthetic.....
They wear the weave to make their hair grow... so that they don't have to keep manipulating the follicles and give the hair a break from the everyday combing, pressing, braiding relaxing etc......

The reason any woman wears a wig or fall is for the improvement of their looks for self-esteem. Wigs and falls are all made of synthetic or real hair, depending on the price the consumer is able to pay and for the style and fit that is best for them.
