As we sit here today around this table,
And gather for a feast,
May we take a moment to appreciate the bounty of the harvest,
And all that we have and should be thankful for.
For at this moment there are those who will go to bed with empty bellys,
Those who have not a roof over ther heads,
There are those who will not know love or support that we have felt,
We have so much to be thankful for,
So let us break bread,
give thanks,
and be mindful to share the harvest.
