Honor and integrity are very similar. Honor implies unbending desire to do what's right. Integrity implies unwillingness to do what's wrong.
In human behavior it's not possible to philosophize moral behavior. You are either willing to do the moral thing or you're not and it has nothing to do with confidence. Morality isn't relative either. You know if something is right or wrong but you may not be willing to accept responsibility for knowing. Not "knowing" makes it easy to do the easy thing, which is not decent morality.
If you are willing to pussyfoot around honor and integrity in this manner then you don't have any.

yes, integrity would be better and no, they are not just truths defining knowledge. They are deep moral convictions that can define a person and give one a basis upon which to live their life.
