hey guys i wrote a letter to JK Rowling (hp author) last december 2005 and i recieved a package w/ a letter and neclase from her last march 2006. I wrote again last march and i recieved a letter last june...so my question is it is reaL or not... she use a black pen w/ her signature sayin love with lots JO... i can't tell what she said co'z itz confidentiaL

Who knows? Lotsof writers are less stuck up than people think. If your message was special to her, it might be real.

I usd to work for a weird publishing company, as a writer of literary biographies, and I have some cool personal letters from write5rs. They are just us, if we were published.

Usually the way it goes with authors, they have a standard printed letter which is updated once in a while to include new information, then the author really signs it. I know this because I have had a similar experience with Dean Koontz. Now, once in a while Koontz adds a few lines himself, below the print. This happened to me as well and he referred to things I mentioned in my letter, so he did read it.

well i guess she's got a secretary who sorts stuff out like that so I would imagine she did'nt really send em. Maybe she signed em but she must be so busy penning the last book she has'nt got time to writeto everybody at least you got a response.

its definetely written by her manager or some1 whom celebs have to answer their letters
but her signature may b authentic
