I am currently writing a script for a Robin Hood pantomime. The script is almost finished, however, it seems to be lacking slightly. What I really need to do is add in some topical jokes that are simple to learn, fit into a panto and will have the audience in stitches. Topics that spring to mind are school dinners, Iraq, North Korea etc. Let me know your ideas!

Jokes cost money, darling. Why don't you try really hard and think of some, since you are the writer? Alternatively, buy a book of jokes and adapt some. Here's a suggestion. Robin Hood is on tv, hoodies are in the news- Off you go. Writers- Honestly.

This bloke was in a restaurant and the waiter brought him his meal in a nosebag."What's the meaning of this?" asked the man indignantly."Oh sorry ,sir" said the waiter,"I must have misunderstood. The chef told me you come in every Tuesday and Thursday and eat like a horse."

Did you hear about the Irish restaurant that hired dwarf waiters to make the portions look bigger?

Good luck with the panto.Hope it's a huge success.
