I have found myself having an affair with a married man. His marriage is not good and hadn't been for some time before I came into the picture. He made himself available to me when on a trip a few months ago....yer....I know what you are all thinking...I know its bad and I should have turned away (and wish I did soooooo much) but I didn't and now the damage is done. Our relationship started off as friends, and best ones at that. He makes me really happy and I enjoy being his friend more than anything else. Can we go back to being best friends or is it all over??

Are you sure thats all you want is to still be friends? Or do you want more? You have already had an affair with him so there must be something more. My best friend ended up being my husband, its the best thing i ever did in my life. we always have stuff to talk about and share the same ideas and opinions. I am not telling you to have you bf leave his wife just asking you to look at yourself and see what you really want. Because if you do want him for something other then a best friend then you will have trouble just being friends. There will always be a trip, weekend, day where something could happen. You should talk with him about how you feel once you figure it out for youself. I hope this helps.

If he's really such a good friend of yours then you should've respected his marriage as well. Just because it was bad it doesn't give you the right to come in between it.

I think it's best that you cut all ties with him for good. It wouldn't be a good idea being friends with him after all that you two have been through.

well i think you still love the guy but its so not good to have an affair with a married man.. but what u do is try being friends again and if you think that the feelings you feel will not be lessen by just trying to be friends only.... you have to cut it because you dont want to have 2nd mistakes anymore..... goodluck

You can't make love with somebody and then wake up other morning and say - hello friend! It is impossible ....
