I'm an 80's child even though I was born in '72 but yes, I remember all those 90's songs and others (lyrics as well as music), and think most of them are at least ok as I have to keep up with trends in music, culture and fashion for my job. Sorry I've never had a problem with songs being jumbled up in my head, but I can imagine it can get annoying.

Fresh Prince (i know this cos used to get up and groove when it came on)

Now this is the story all about how
My life got flipped, turned upside down
And Id like to take a minute just sit right there
Ill tell you how I became the prince of a town called bel-air

In west philadelfia born and raised
On the playground where I spent most of my days
Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool
And all shooting some b-ball outside of the school
When a couple of guys said were up in no good
Started making trouble in my neighbourhood
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared
And said your'e moving with your aunte and uncle in bel-air

I whistled for a cab and when it came near the
Licensplate said fresh and had a dice in the mirror
If anything I could say that this cab was rare
But I thought now forget it, yo home to bel-air

I pulled up to a house about seven or eight
And I yelled to the cabby yo, home smell you later
Looked at my kingdom I was finally there
To settle my throne as the prince of bel-air

Also, remember Jarvis Cocker, 10p space raiders, a quid for lunch, Italia 90 and USA 94, Eric Cantona, the Shearer / Sutton combo, Blackburn Rovers at the top of the premiership!, Philip Schofield and Gordan the Gopher, Motor Mouth, Reebok Pumps, top trumps, ... i can think of so much more.

Aerosmiths "Dude looks Like A Lady" is from the mid 80's..
LOL
..but it was played frequently in the early 90s..
I graduated Highschool in the early 90s, had a child in the early 90's, got married in the mid 90's..

It was an ok time, some of the music sucked ....
1988 - 1996 was a fun time for me...so much fun, I have some memory loss concerning the "good times"" Ha ha ha ha :)

I'm not a 90s child but it is strange the way song lyrics are easier to remember than so much else.
