no with a back pack it doesn't look cute at all. there were some girls who used to carry purses to school along with their back pack. i don't see the point of it. the back pack has pocket to keep ur stuff why need a purse unless they wanna show off their designer purses.
anyways i think purse should be left out to use when hanging out with friends. for school either a back pack or a shouder bag looks good.

Men are men no matter if they carry a purse or not. Just make sure it matches your bell-bottoms. Toss the backpack, opera clutches are much more fashionable.
