Depends on what you speak to your ex about, and does he know about your new man? If not he should be made aware that you are seeing someone else so he doesn't have false hopes the whole time you two are still talking.

Well your only dating them... your not actually tied down like you would if your in a relationship.

Although if it did turn into a relationship and you were still talking to your ex it could be possible that your partner wouldn't be happy, but it really depends on the individual. You would feel threatened as you use to have something significant with your ex that has a possibility of still being there. Even if it isn't i'm sure your partner would find it hard to accept and still be cautious.

As far as i see it they don't have control over you but just sum up what you have to lose over what you'll gain. While your not in a relationship, really, it's all your choice.

Depends. How are you "speaking" with your ex?

If you're having sex with your ex, you are cheating on your new date. It is only fair that you tell him/her that you are still friendly with your ex - and let him/her decide if they want to be a part of the threesome...

Ask yourself if YOU would appreciate being the date and act accordingly.

I think it's great that you have a continued association with someone who meant much more to you in your past but, if you are looking to move on with someone new, DO THAT. You can't give 100% if you aren't GIVING 100%.

Hope this helps... Thanks for writing & Good Luck to you!

I wouldn't like for the girl I'm dating to be still talking with her ex. Talk to the guy you're dating and see if he is bothered by it. If he doesn't care then it's okay.

If I were in your situation, I will only go for one and only one.
I believe that a good relationship builds on *trust* to begin with.
Dating one, while speaking with another, is cheating, in my own opinion.

Yes it is OK, but I would ask myself why?
If you like your new boyfriend the old one should be out of picture and your mind!!
