Communism had no middle class and capitalists because all are treated equal. Only the leaders are enjoying and most of the people are simply workers and laborers receiving only basic items for a living.

Capitalism creates a large variety of wealth levels amongst its population. To define a lower, middle, and upper class is mostly just for classification convenience, and we even sub-divide it into upper-middle, lower-middle, etc. Communism, in its ideal form, does away with all classes, in that everyone is equal. Each citizen makes the same amount of money, no matter what their job is. If you can even identify a middle class, then you're not in communism. I guess you could say that capitalism needs a middle class in the sense that it needs a large amount of people who are neither in poverty nor in extreme wealth, as they act as a buffer between the two. If there were no middle class, the impoverished would have every motive to overthrow the government, most likely favoring a Marxist system in response.
