or should i just wear glasses or contacts beacause i know for pilots in the airforce glasses and contacts are allowed if corrected to 20/20.

Hopefully in that time period, we will be "post-war". Which means the military will be downsizing.

PRK may or may not be approved by the USAF. You're very young to be having that type of permanent eye surgery. I would be cautious of any doctor who tells you "no problem" - your eyes are still changing constantly.

Slow down alittle and put lots more time into your schoolwork. If there is one certainty about the military, they only want successful students. And pilots have to graduate college,

If you really wanted to be a pilot i would get lazer surgery cause they are currently cutting 40,000 people in the airforce and they only take the best, my commander wasnt able to be a pilot because he was slightly color blind, he could distinguish between all the colors but they did a test on him where there are a bunch of little dots colored slightly differently and he couldnt read the number hidden in them. but just about any job in the air force is a good one.

I would go get the surgery.

If I was a British pilot, I'd be extremely worried. Ever heard of friendly fire?
