I am currently living in China.
I am here as an English teacher.
I will be moving back to the U.S. in the summer of 2007.
PERHAPS A LIST OF PICTURES OF SPECIES THAT CAN LEGALLY BE IMPORTED?
I don't think it's an endangered species--it's very common here in China.

Check with Customs, but probably not- if you did it would probably have to go through quarantine and need some sort of veterinarian's documentation beforehand.

In general, I usually do not recommend people doing that- the long air flight alone is not real healthy for the turtle.

I thought a teacher would be smart enough to check with customs/quarantine or even go to a library and look for the species.
What about looking it up online?
Now there's a thought!
Sorry for my irony but I can't help it.
