You poor thing - it's the worst part of being pregnant. Hopefully though, it shouldn't last much longer - they say it lasts till about 12 weeks, so hang on in there.
As mentioned above, ginger biscuits, dry biscuits, sweet tea, etc all help. I also found that apples helped me - very green and juicy ones were the best.
If I were you I'd go and see your GP - he may be able to suggest some natural remedies (they are reluctant to prescribe drugs because of possible side effects). He will also be able to sign you off work, if you're not able to go in.
Congratulations and the best of luck.

Congratulations, Morning sickness can be a real drag when server like this, I had this kind of morning sickness with my first pregnancy and it was horrible, it stoped at 13 weeks, unfortunatly I lost my baby but it was not related to the morning sickness.
You should be able to go to the doctor and get a medical certificate to give you some time off until feeling better which should be by the second trimester, but no promises. Your doctor should be able to give you maxalon, its a drug given before powerful drugs like morphine to prevent been sick. Its a wonderful drug which you can take 20 minutes before eating and normally keeps food down, You would still have to eat light foods but it would help until the morning sickness passes, Another thing is you may still feel nausea but without the food coming up.
When you wake up have a cup of tea and sip it, with a slice of dry toast, before getting out of bed. This will boast your blood sugar and hopefully slow down the morning sickness. Ginger is good so you could nibble on gingernuts and dont eat in large amounts only tiny nibbles at a time so it doesn't hit your stomach all at once, drink lots of water or if you can't hold water down eat ice to keep you hydrated, soup is good as you sip it slowly. also dry crackers and grapes. You need to trial and error as everyone is different but these things are normally a good remidy.
Best wishes and good luck.

I was sick from 5weeks when I was pregnant with my first daughter. Exactly the same as you every thing I ate or drank I was sick the whole way through. I lived on fruit pastles for 8 months. Ask to have your Thyroid levels tested. I ended up dehydrated and in hospital,it's no fun. I did and do have a Thyroid problem, mine was over active once on medication I'm fine. I am currently pregnant with my 2nd daughter and I have been sick once at 12 weeks but now I'm fine, currently 26weeks pregnant. At first the doctors told me my Thyroid levels were high but this was just due to being pregnant and it wasn't until I demanded a re test that they confirmed I needed medication. Good luck xx

Sounds like you are experiencing far more than the average amount of sickness, and you should definitely go and see a doctor if you are being sick that much. The doctor will sign you off sick.

Yes, I took anti nausea/vomiting medication. The doctor can definitely give you something to take away the morning sickness. Also, they say eating saltines and 7-up in the morning works wonders.

Ask him if you can start taking Zofran-I had severe morning sickness too and that stuff is expensive but amazing. If you have good insurance I reccomend it-otherwise if you don't out of pocket it costs $20 dollars a pill.In your case I think it would be worth it though!
