I live in Melbourne and I want to show off her best side. Any suggestions that will make their trip memorable. We already have a dinner booked with John So...... so it should be off to great start.

In Melbourne, The Queen Vic Market on a Saturday morning
A play at La Mama & a meal on Lygon St
Tour the MCG
Stroll by the Yarra
Luna Park & St Kilda Esplanade

A little further afield ...

Healesville Sanctuary
A wine tour of the Yarra Valley, also Mornington Peninsula
Phillip Island penguins
Cape Schanck Lighthouse

I'd avoid Chadstone shopping mall.

Only you can really know what they will enjoy or like to do the best. But Melb Zoo is one of the best zoos in the world, St Kilda sunday market is always nice, so is walk along docklands.. Maybe even try Puffing Billy up to Gembrook. And we have some pretty good Museums.

Sophia's at Camberwell, have meals and service second to none. Maybe not the flashest resturant around, but wait till you see and taste the meals, you will be really impressed. Everybody struggles to get through the meal size, but they are happy to give you a doggy bag. Great Italian food.
