Don't you think people have gotten a lot better since the past, but still need to realize that everyone is different and they can learn something new from everyone?

Yes, it is a wonderful awakening when you begin to see that every life no matter the color, creed or nation, has God-given intelligence and gifts from which one can profit.

People can't be open minded because it's contrary to their nature. Everyone thinks they're right.
The actual closed mindedness is still as bad as it ever was, but at least less people get killed over differing viewpoints now.

Overall, people have improved, but some people just can't be more open minded. I hope this continues to improve.
