I am taking the ACTs and I need to know for sure if my calculator is permitable. I have looked online and call the number. My calculator wasn't on the list but the guy I talked to on the phone said he wasn't sure. I have a Sharp Scientific Calculator Model Number EL-531W.

Also I plan to go to college but I think I need more practice in Science and Math. I was wondering if anyone knew of any Courses that I can take. Located in Michigan or online. Thanks for the help.

I don't know about your specific calculator. Can you borrow one from someone (ahead of time, so you can familiarize yourself with it!), one that is definitely on the approved list?

Are you out of high school already? I am wondering why you can't simply take more math and science courses in high school.

Assuming that you ARE out of high school, why don't you look at a local/area community college, take some math/science course, then apply/transfer to a "better" institution, if that's what you want?
