I'm thinking of going to America next year but have heard Florida beaches are busy during spring break which is around March-April. Does anyone know the precise dates of spring break?

Every school does not take the same exact dates for break, that is why you have the March-April timeframe.
There is also a mid-winter break, usually in Feb.

According the a google search, March 26-30th is the school children's break. It looks like the universities break up around the 12th -16th March. Hope that is some help to you. Have a great holiday.

I went to Daytona beach for spring break last year, very over-rated
I have heard Cancun is better
Spring break lasts for a few weeks because there are so many US unis
