It is natural to dream about things you are thinking about during the day. I mean, they *are* all in your head. If you think to much about something (in this case, anime), your unconscious mind will still be thinking about it, even though you're asleep.
You know, I used to be obsessed with Ragnarok Online, but I didn't get to play it after high school, so there's this one time I dreamt being able to play it. It was *SO* real. I was really disappointed when I woke up ^_^
Also, I've dreamt of Sonic and Princess Sally from Sonic the Hedgehog, though I didn't know where that came from. I *was* into them when I was a kid, but the dream occurred when I was already through with Sonic.
I'm 18 now, and I *love* Naruto and Deathnote, but I've yet to dream of them. Trust me, you're not weird. Just don't think about anime and manga too much. I'm guessing you're still in your early teens. When you're in high school/university, you won't have much time for those stuff (note: I didn't say *any* time, just *much* time), as you'll be busy with assignments, quizzes, and the like, so you'll stop thinking too much about them. Either that, or you'll become even more obsessed with them, but you'll be able to control yourself because you *will* become more matured in university (that's what I noticed for myself). You'll still like anime, but they're not likely to enter your dreams. Anyway, I think I read somewhere that as you get older, you don't have as much dreams as you have as a kid. But don't worry, I still have *very* nice dreams ^_^ If you know what I'm talking about, LOL =3

I've never had anime characters in my dreams, except for once when I was like ten I dreamt that I was a character from Sailor Moon. But whenever I read Harry Potter, the characters and places from that invade my dreams. It's sooo weird XD

Do not worry about these dreams...
We mostly dream about those things we think about or which
are very important for us. I my self dream very often about my beloved ... movies for instance. As a boy I was very often "fighting" with Charles Bronson and Henry Fonda* ....
Nowadays I am dreaming about huge oil paintings in full Panavision color, because I like paintings --- also my own oil paintings. That's a good sign, if You dream about things You really love... So go on. Nothing could be wrong with anime characters, they are very very beautiful for Western eyes... they are something fresh and new...
Aaron.
