hell yah... maybe because wearing bikinis is simple as wearing a fashionable clothing, unlike when you wear ur undies, its some kind of fantasy that people might not like and undies are kindda private for women...as to wearing bikinis its more thicker than the undies.. and bikinis have better colors and designs than the undies...

It is a psychological thing we have impressed upon us from the time we are young that carries over with us as adults. I agree it is odd considering most undies cover more skin than bikini's do.

It goes to intent, and to what is appropriate in what places.
A bikini is intended to be worn in public as a display of a woman's "assets" and to attract attention of males.
Underwear is designed to be worn under street clothing, and is usually only visible to others in "intimate" situations.
You wouldn't wear a bikini to an office job, would you? Also, even at the beach you wouldn't feel right about showing up in Victoria's Secret attire. Certain things are only apropriate in certain venues.

Because usually when a woman wears a bikini, she has been given enough notice to trim her short-and-curlies and shave her legs. Undies=not always prepared.

maybe because wen we are in our bikini we are usually with our friends and are at our highest point of confidence but wen we are in our under war with a guy we are all by ourself with no one to back us up if something goes wrong. yah i dont know thats my theory.
