2, = have no idea
3. = stone is usually smaller than a rock.
4, = different species and rats are much larger than mice
5, = you can have a wheel without a tyre, tyre is a covering for a wheel

They depend upon the place where u use them but I admit only the slightest difference lies between them..
The important thing for u is to choose the right word when u express a place.
