Boy, if we knew that, then we could end most wars and be rid of bullying and we would nearly have a happier world for all.
Half the time kids are influenced by their parents rather than their peers when it comes to peoples' differences, be they color, race or creed.
One can only suggest/offer better/other ways of looking at things and dealing with situations and hope they catch on to what you mean.

some team challenges could help them work together and listen to each others opinon, I know they do stuff like that at camp where you have obstacles that you have to get everyone across, and it takes everyone working together to work it out.
