There's a dream I had when I was in elementary school that particularly stands out. In it, the ground is made of LEGO blocks (just the square and rectangular variety). They're spread out erratically, but in general don't form any significant valleys, hills, walls or structures. The sky is black, and the sky and the ground extend to the horizon. In the sky is a giant dark-orange swirling vortex that's black at the center. And in front of the center of the vortex there's a random number from one to 100. The number changes every few seconds, and if it turns 100, I will be sucked into the vortex and my consciousness will cease to exist. I'm running around absolutely terrified. and by terrified I mean the most unpleasant feeling I have ever experienced. This dream happened five times in a row the same night and then never again. Each time it ended with me being sucked in at the number 100, and the feeling of terror inscresing more, then I wake up even more scared than in the dream

One of the five times there was an alien in the dream with me. He didn't seem to portray any emotion or familiarity, and I believe he was in the same predicament I was in, however, when I sent him into the vortex when it turned 100 instead of myself I felt guilty. I still got sucked in the next time the vortex turned 100.

more info on the 100: I knew that 100 was the number I'ld be sucked in at even at the start of the first dream. I think it might have something to do with school grades. In fact I believe I wondered in the dream why 100, something I should strive for, was the incarnation of something so terrifying.

not sure if it means anything, but most of the lego blocks were attached to others (still arranged erratically) although a few were lying around as well. I did grab a few blocks off of stacks, but I never tried to build anything.

Most of my focus was on delaying the inevitable 100. I believe I tried to find shelter, but none of the blocks formed (or would form) a ceiling. In a later dream, I noticed that the black sky didn't extend all the way to the horizon, and I tried to get to there since the vortex didn't reach to there, but I never made it.

This is a fascinating dream. Were you at a point of transition or stress in your life? Could it be that you were going to a new school? - Or was something stressful happening in your own life at this point.

In dreams, the ground, represents your foundation and support system. It is also the boundary between your conscious and unconscious. You may be getting closer in confronting and acknowledging your unconscious thoughts. The fact that it was made of lego suggests that unconsciously, you considered your support system to be very shaky at this point.

To see aliens in your dream , signifies that you were having difficulties adapting and adjusting to your new surroundings or situation. You were feeling "alienated" and invaded. You were also having difficulties in how to handle or deal with a certain situation or person. On a psychological level, seeing aliens may represent an encounter with an unfamiliar or neglected aspect of your own self.

To dream that you are in the path of a vortex, signifies changes which may lead to loss, chaos and scandal. You are being pulled unwillingly into a facing your repressed thoughts.

To look up at a black sky in your dream, denotes sadness and trouble. Black especially symbolises the unknown, unconscious, danger, mystery, darkness, death, mourning, hate or malice.

I would guess that this was either a stressful transitional stage in your life to do with school, or there was something negative going on at home which was affecting school. The number 100 is significant with a desire for perfection, which you felt at that point was impossible for you to acheive. This would mean failure, whose consequenses would mean you being sucked into the vortex of despair and lack of success.

Hope this helps.

Wow, what an amazing dream! That's a pretty sophisticated dream for an elementary school student!
There's a theory that human culture develops in order to protect people from the terror of non-existence caused by awareness of death. Maybe the Lego blocks are symbols of culture and the attempt to construct some sort of meaning that gives life significance. The blocks do not form any significant pattern, so maybe they represent a sense that you had not yet developed a structured worldview that could protect you against the fear of non-existence, represented by the swirling vortex. Perhaps the random number symbolizes the randomness of death - any of us could die at any given moment. There's a saying, "when your number's up, your number's up," meaning that we all have a time to die that we cannot avoid. I'm just guessing really. A very interesting dream!

I'm no dream interpereter, but I'll think. The lego world means that your life is really unstable and can change in an instant. The numbers decide what will happen to you and when you get sucked in, you go through the change. If all 5 of the dream were you being sucked in at 100, 100 is the number of the greatest change of your life. Now you need to figure out what that 100 means because it 100 is just a number. Anyway, I thought this up and do not follow this as your life guide but incase you do, be warned that if you do anything stupid, don't sue me!

Oh and I just saw your additional detail, I think the alien represents another person that you may lose an opportunity to. 1 out of 5 is the chance that you may lose the opportunity whatever it may be for the greatest change of your life ( or his/her )

DREAMS ARE THE BUILD UP OF THE SUB-CONSCIOUS MIND WHICH RETAINS EVERYTHING YOUR SENSES PICK UP EVEN IF YOU DID NOT NOTICE IT. THE CONSCIOUS MIND HAS CONTROL OVER THE OTHER WHILE YOU ARE AWAKE PUTTING SENSE TO YOUR MEMORIES. WHEN YOU SLEEP THE CONSCIOUS PART RESTS AS WELL, LEAVING THE SUB-CONSCIOUS TO FEED THOUGHT WITHOUT GUIDANCE. Do dreams ever even mean anything? What if it was some other being tapping into the brainwaves and twisting them for amusement?
