It depends on the ring. Gold is a MUCH more expensive metal, but it's a million times easier to work with. Titanium is not expensive but it's so hard and has such a ridiculously high melting point, it's a nightmare to work with. In the end, the price of the gold and the labor cost (and specialized equipment required) to work the titanium wind up making them both about equally expensive.

Titanium is less expensive than 9kt white gold. However, because titanium is difficult to make jewelry with the labor costs of titanium can make the price of a titanium jewelry a little higher. Though white gold will still normally command a higher price than titanium.

Gold. Titanium is just too light for jewelry.....one cannot feel it on their hand. Platinum is the most expensive metal. Go for the gold!! I can't believe people think titanium is more expensive. lol. Go to any online website (kayjewelers, etc.) and look up rings. good luck.

I work in a jewelry store, and the titanium we have costs a lot less than the gold we have. It also depends on the style and if diamonds or any precious stones are added.

It depends on what type of ring your looking for, really. I did a search and came up with this website. It is talking about white gold rather than gold, but this might help you decide.
I do know that Titanium is usually less expensive than gold.
Good Luck! :)

Titanium is a very hard and light weight metal mostly used in building Airplanes such as Jet Fighters. It is not rare as is Gold, which has a high value. Though Jewelers scam their costumers into believing it is a precious metal. . .it's not.
You can purchase what you think looks best and pay the price you feel is fair. . .Happy choosing. . .

I think its titanium but you cannot use it if you intend to have stones on the ring. Not hard enough. oops I just read another answer which says the opposite! Sorry, maybe I'm completely wrong!

look at http://www.giftshoppingzone.com and find out yourself. although it depends on the design and stone you have fixed on the ring.
