I would like pumpernickel rye bread, with some brie cheese.
A bowl of tomato soup would go nicely with that.

If you were making the sandwhich, I would say frenchbread, with honeymustard, spinich, pickles, turkey, ham or beef (I'm not picky, even chicken would be fine) cheese (provolone, swiss or cheddar)
If I was making the sandwhich, it'd probably be peanutbutter, jelly and cheese on the regular cheep sliced bread from the grocers. (sounds weird, but it's good. PB with boisonberry jelly and regular cheese, not that presliced American processed cheese food stuff. I generally use the cheddar that's marbled with the white (I am so drawing a blank on what it's called) Chedderella, Colby-Jack...but there's another name...anyway. There you go.
Interesting survey, makes me curious why you're doing it.

Traditional white
Mayo- preferably Hellman's
Turkey- preferably Boar's Head
Baby Swiss cheese
and Lettuce
