They need to question the spouse - you should expect that! There is no way for them to know you are not involved until you talk to them. Just be completely honest and everything will be fine. If you really aren't involved and didn't know about it, they'll see that. Don't worry!

first of all punkin do not worry-you are his former spouse and so you will be questioned on matters relating to your former husband its just routine. you will be asked if you knew anything about the matter in hand. you will also be asked about your ex-husbands whereabouts/behaviour etc on certain days. the chances are the police want to get as much information as they can about the case-no-one is going to accuse you outright without proof. just tell the truth and you will be fine-do not go into the police station without representation-if they ask "why do you feel you need representation" explain you are in a foreign land and you do not know how the judicial system works here and tell the truth-you are nervous you have done nothing wrong yet here you are being questioned on matters not related to you. take it easy and you will be fine.

You are in a foreign country. You don't have the same rights as in the US. The army or whatever has lawyers who defend military personnel. You must get a lawyer and if you are truthful and not involved perhaps using the military''s lawyer might be the best way.
