So far I gather from all the hateful remarks that the guildlines of yahoo are really what this is all about, and if we answer out of those guildlines then we get deleted, so maybe they should give a book out with all the "right way to answer someone's questions! I could just sit here and report everyone's answer I deemed not to fit in my mold of thoughts but then why ask a question if I didn't want all the opinions in the first place?

I think that Yahoo does limit our speech a lot. Most posts that get deleted have a certain bias, either by using certain words, having an honest opinion/comment that disagrees with yahoo/the poster, or even protesting our currrent president. Nevertheless, it's kind of allowed, because yahoo must monitor what goes on. We have freedom of speech and expression, but our modes are limited.

The right to free speech(freedom of speech) is yours and not Yahoo's. Unless there is no other method to exercise that right your rights are not being taken away.
If you look at the parties of the government, Yahoo and the user then Yahoo has shown a history of putting the interests of itself and the government before the user so you just use your fingers and your mouse and go somewhere else on the Internet and Yahoo can't do a thing about it.
Are you possibly mixing this up with your right to privacy ? If it is then remember you acknowledged an agreement with Yahoo and it spelled out any limits on this subject as well as what Yahoo can change at any time during that agreement which is just about anything anyway. Forget privacy.

Freedom of speech is not an Absolute right. In fact, your right to Free speech gives you no promise or guarantee that people will have to listen to you. (That's part of Their freedom of speech...)
IN a forum where adults and and children can mingle invisibly, the Internet content provider has a strong legal responsibility to filter certain kinds of speech. You wouldn't want your twelve-year old to receive sexually explicit material, for example.
Also, if content is deemed to be threatening,or is legally defined "hate speech", then Yahoo also has a legal obligation to remove AND report it to authorities.
Finally, as the provider of a FREE forum for exchanging ideas, Yahoo has a RIGHT to set whatever ground rules it wants regarding the kinds a abusive, hateful, or other kinds of answers people choose to inflict on the group.
If you don't like the rules, you are welcome to register a domain name, build your own website, set up your own "answers" column, and let people spew whatever trash they want to. That is the real meaning of free speech as it applies here.

Hmmm... let's see if I've got your point. Yahoo invented this forum, put it on-line, created guidelines for its use, and pays to maintain the site. By any definition I can come up with, that seems to make it, um... Yahoo's site.
Now, I'm sure you aren't saying that Yahoo shouldn't have the right or ability-- the freedom-- to control what is or isn't said on its own site.
I think you're almost right-- you just got your wording a little confused. I'm sure you meant "What kind of crap is it, to try to take Yahoo's freedom of speech away?"
Yeah, I'm sure that's what you meant to say... isn't it?

I do not think Yahoo has taken anything away from me that I didn't agree to let them have when I started using this site. I am thankful that they have provided this site, for the entertainment value cannot be approached.
This is a game you are not allowed to play, in a forum where you are not allowed to chat or converse.
Quit pishing and moaning about your worthless/precious points, and just try to have fun.
Find a racist and report them, if it makes you feel better.

This is Yahoo's Forum. If you don't agree with the rules of conduct/speech, start your own. I hope you can handle the truth!

Given that they are private company, not a government entity, they can do whatever they wish.
If you feel they are taking away your freedom of speech then you can always go speak freely on another forum on the tubes.
You have the choice, that's the difference.

Freedom of speech does not apply to websites...you should visit your local library and LEARN some things.
