Yes and my father warned me of it, You will never get rich and will work hard. Younger children will keep you sick with all their bugs. The best place to work as a teacher is not the public school system, the private sector doesn't pay well either. That leaves you with the best choice and it is working for the federal government in DoDDs (Department of Defense Dependent schools) Teachers are well paid and respected by the administration, peers and students alike.

I don't regret receiving my teaching credentials... I DO regret that I started my teaching career in a private, unaccredited school. I'm still reaping the "rewards" of that boneheaded career move. Long story... not worth the time to elaborate.
