I want to use my PC as a Karaoke machine. I have the software set up but the mic I am using doesnt work on the pc

You didn't mention why your mic doesn't work on your PC. If it's because of the plugin size you can simply buy a 1/4" to 1/8" adapter. There are adapters for XLR connections also. Actually, any microphone will work as long as you can adapt the plugin to fit the sound card of your PC.

There are a wide variety of mic qualities to choose from. You can get a cheap desk top mic for around 15.00, or you can get a pro condenser mic that could cost you $80 - $100.

With microphones, you do get what you pay for! The sound differences are amazing, so if you're just funnin' it up, and not very experienced, start with the Sony mic above. If you're recording your performances to put on CDs, though, go with something a little better.

fairly of shopping for a karaoke gadget you may flow on youtube whenever you want,look up a song and form the song call and then karaoke version and also you'll play the song good then! that is loose and also you'll do it whenever you want! SO COOL

the Shure mic. It has very good sound quality for a very good price. buy it on Ebay
