i am trying to create a great resume, where is the best on line resume writing assistance site, or maybe somewhere in michigan i could go, or any help you could give me thank alot yahoo family!!

An accurate summary of your credentials
Education, achievements, job experience and goals
It should flow naturally and be easy to read
It should be based on a particular format: Chronological resume, Functional resume, Targeted resume or Combo resume

Depending on their personal circumstances, people have different reasons to write a resume. It's important you have a clear idea of why you are writing a resume before you start as this will help you choose the correct resume style

Hello, DBZ....I, too, have been working on my resume recently. Fortunately, I'm getting professional assistance with it from a job coach. Also, my younger sister is (supposedly) great at writing resumes....All I can suggest to you is to do an online search for "resume services" or "resume writing". Also, there should be at least one resume writing service in the Yellow Pages in your part of Michigan. Hope this helps!

Go to your local library and check out the books on how to create your resume. Also go to Yahoo Hot jobs and that will aide you in the right direction. Good luck on your job endeavors.

Here is what happened to me 3 years ago. I gave out plenty of resumes but no calls. So I went to a temp agency and he sat down with me and asked me many questions,... like: Did you answer phones? Did you run errands? Did you verify any personal info on anyone? Did you ever handle any major problems,... on your own? Questions that were simple and yes yes yes answers. He got my resume and wrote in more detailed answers. Yet they were still to the point. For example:
BEFORE

2001-Present Mortgage XXX West Covina, CA.
*Took applications and entered data in to system.
*Recvd. new leads and distribuited thru out company
*Managed lead portfolio

AFTER
2001-Present Mortgage XXX West Covina, CA.
*Took information and set up new applications. Entered data in to system and verified credit and personal information.
*Recvd. new leads. After reviewing Loan Officer's history with new leads, I would distruibute leads thru out the company.
*Logged all new leads and devolped my own system to better manage them and create a leak free system to promote loan originations.
