*** Mr. CK Tang, while he was alive, had made it clear that all businesses (except for the hotel) are required to be closed on a sunday. it was due to the fact that he is a devoted christian, making money on the 7th day is secondary.
you can see CK tang's retail glorious years were in the 1980s & 1990s. however, since his son took over the reigns, the business iis going downfall, when he broke the 'sundays' close' committment. (just a rumor...)
