I am a black woman who is all for any form that love chooses to take.... personally my strongest relationship so far has been with my current girlfriend, who is also black.... our connection is deep, satisfying, and so sensual.... its like loving yourself... which is what we should be doing BEFORE a relationship right? lol.... its ALMOST like your sister who stays for longer "sleepovers" ... there are a few initial issues that we automatically bi-pass in the relationship and society because we share the same race.... but I'm sure a difference in race can actually enrich a relationship as well....because if its not race that you have in common... You both are women!! thats a powerful connection right off the bat!... In addition it may be the difference in the way of living and/or thinking that provides just as deep a connection thru the want to connect with something outside of what you know.... so red and yellow, black and white... we are all still precious TOGETHER in Gods sight! {Seeing people honestly in Gods eyes can illuminate unconditional acceptance/love AND eliminate the race issue in our relationships.}

I think that a lesbian, being aware of the prejudice that has come her own way, and that of her sisters, should seek to not be a bigot herself. If you are white and prefer white women, or black and prefer black women, for example, there is nothing wrong with that. Racial differences may be important to some people for reasons that really don't amount to much in the way of prejudice. But if that same person puts others down that date interracially simply because it isn't right for them, then I think it does amount to being prejudiced. That isn't right for anybody - gay or straight.

I know it's not a popular viewpoint, but I, personally, believe there is only one race, human. Genetically there is no valid correlation between cosmetic features like skin color or hair texture and actual place of ancestral origin. There are people who identify as African-American whose ancestry is 80% European, and vice versa. That being the case, there can be no inter-racial dating since we are all human.

If two people care for each other, it makes no difference.
You can expect remarks about everything you do.
If it wasn't for your homosexuality or interracial relationships,
it would be because you are short, or tall, or have a pimple or something.
Just live from within what your heart says is right and let the
remarks just pass you.

I suppose it would depend on the individuals themselves. It's like the old saying, to each their own. I know of at least 2 interracial lesbian couples who are very much in love and they are all really wonderful and good people.
Love is love, regardless of race, religion, gender, orientation, age, or financial status. Love is certainly much greater than hate.

I haven't any issue with interracial relationship at present day, gay, lesbian, bi, trans, and so on! i think of this is proper to verify people chuffed, and it will possibly not depend if one is of a distinctive race/ethnicity.

I don't have any problem with it either. as long as the people are 2 consenting, unrelated adults...it shouldn't matter what gender, race, religion or culture they are. love knows no color...or gender. love is love!
