Please help settle this argument. I have a friend who said without a doubt all egyptian men want to have children. I surely don't think he can speak for an entire nation of men. I know children are an important part of Egyptian culture, but surely with so many people in the country, there is boud to be a few who do not desire to raise children. It is an individual's choice I think. What do you think?

I realize this is a question that could be applied to all men in all countries. The only reason I am trying to single out Egyptian men is because my friend stated absolutely without a doubt, that I would never find one Egyptian man who does not want to have children. I'm not talking generalities here, I am just looking for cold, hard facts. I am looking for at least one Egyptian man who can say "no I don't want to have children". Thank you.

Well..i just want that it is instinct in all the human being but these idea has changed somehow, some men don't prefer to have children for just a period not their whole life,They prefer to build their life so that there kids will have a good life than having lots of responsibilities at once..Step by Step..
Imagine yourself when you'll have 60 years old without children you will realize that u missed a lot, someone who cares about u,helps you when u need anything...etc,I think those who God didn't give them that gift(having children,Ability to reproduce)have that feeling

The same question is applicable to men all over the world and not to Egypt or any nation in particular.

Your friend is talking the truth.
It is one of the steps in life you know, phase, that to have a child.
Of course i m talking about the general idea for most people i know and met, still you can find men who think otherwise, surely.

i agree with kalooka
and i wanna add that some men just like to postpone having children, but at a certain age they start thinking about it.
we're about 80 million now in Egypt, no wonder why :)

there's no rule for it.. some do, some don't.. ad i think that the ones that DO wanna have kids dont want it because they're egyptians!! it just that they think that they're growing older.. they work so hard to provide money.. and they dont wanna take their money and efforts to the grave.. who best to take on his "journey in life" than a child that carries his name and carries on??
