I found oodles of mentions (such as the one below) and pictures but all I can confirm is that he is a Philippine modernist artist and teacher and that his middle initial is "B".

There is the possibility that it doesn't have a full name to it, I have a relative named "J. D." and neither the "J" nor the "D" stand for anything. The parents couldn't think of a name and it sounded good, figuring their boy could make it into anything he wanted.

B is for Bondoc. Galo is a relative of jarius bondoc , a newspaper columnist.
