This is just to correct the post that said that the name change came about because of it "suddenly" being discovered that it is fake. The only reason they changed the name is because the World Wildlife Federation sued them for the use of the initials. Since they existed before the wrestling WWF, they were forced to change the name. Yes its all fake, do you think that anyone could have seriously ever beaten Andre the Giant? Or the Big Show? Its a male soap opera, entertaining? yes! Real? no! Booker is not a real king, you have to be born a monarch of a country to be a king, America doesn't have a monarchy. The women moving from guy to guy always happens, and Yes, that is Hogan's real daughter!

Wrestling is all contrived to suit ratings on TV and Pay per view..
Of course it's not real, just think about it,If 2 guys near 7ft were to punch each other like wrestlers pretend then, they wouldn't get up...let alone turn up next night to wrestle again unmarked.LOL
The E of WWE =Entertainment its all good acting from super fit athletes....But at a cost as they do get bad injuries..Cheers

Actually it use to be WWF (World Wrestling Federation) when they were still pretending to be a real sport...But later on they came up and admitted that everything in the show are scripted or simply put...fake! That's when they change their name to WWE or World Wrestling Entertainment...Coz everything is just for entertainment purposes!

I once saw a documentary of WWE on the news. They always practice their "act" before "performing."
For example: (you may have to visualize this to understand)
When a wrestler is kicking a man on the floor with his right foot, he hops very loudly on his left foot and slighly touch the man (whom is on the floor) with his right. This makes it look like the wrestler is kicking with his right. And the sound of the left foot hitting the floor sounds like the pressure of the right foot. Watch and understand..lol
The same goes for many other "acts".
Another example: When a wrestler holds a man's head with his left hand, he pertends to punch with his right hand. The second his right hand almost hits a man's head, he uses his left hand to move the guy's head back, looking like the guy's head "moved back" because of the right hand's punch. very tricky
I just watched WWE and I think that when a man drops a ladder on another man, The man (who is dropping the ladder) controls the ladder's movement by grabbing the top of the ladder, jumping off the ropes and flies with the ladder. He then lets the head of the ladder hit the floor immediately before the ladder hits the man on the floor badly...but I bet the ladder is only strong enough to stand on...who knows what it's made out of.
hope that helps.

It's all fake. It's like watching a movie. The only thing real are the injuries.

I can't decipher the real from all the scripting any more .
Too much money involved and too outrageous as well.
I really even question whether it's real blood or packets ?

Well, it's more fun, of course, to think that it's real; but in all reality it's just an act...kind of like a soap opera or something.

it is fake...although entertaining (to some people), the show follows a script and has predetermined outcomes and events. I guess it's like a man's soap opera..lol

It's just planned stunts. There ARE many grown people who believe that it's real though.
