i did a disk clean up of 1,119,728 kb is this alot and what tips can you maybe give to try in the future

do it more often and defragging wouldnt hurt either

This can be a lot - a little over 1gig, but it depends on what type of hard drive (how big) you have.

Other tips - try cleanup software. My favorite picks are as follows:

1) Auslogics disk Defrag - Free program that does a better defragmenting job than the windows version.

2) HCC Lite Duplicate file finder. This finds exact duplicate files on you computer, in case you have lots of duplicate files in different locations. Be careful with this one - don't delete anything you're not sure about.

3) Advanced Windows Care. This program fixes lots of windows junk, including invalid shortcuts and bad registry entries.

Yeah, its enormous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In future remember to clean up your disks every 2-3 days, if you are a regular net user.

you can try defragmenting the drives also
