What is means, plus it gives contestants the opportunity to compete in either one if they are good enough.
The big plus is we get to view some of the MOST BEAUTIFUL women on this planet ...
It will be interesting.tho when extra terrestrials visit then maybe they will have something to say about Miss Universe..LOL

Miss Universe is at a higher lever than Miss World which is based on the geographic boundaries of World and the Universe.
World includes the whole of earth and Universe is the whole galaxy system with other planets and starts. So a Universe is larger than World.
Thus Miss Universe is a higher post than a Miss World

The companies or organization are different otherwise their just both pageant competition that are joined by many countries. Maybe in the future when we do discover alien civilization in other planets and galaxies.
Miss Universe can be a pageant competition that are competed by many alien races and species in many planets and galaxy. And we can have Miss Galaxy to be limited to our galaxy.
And ones other dimensions open up. Then Miss world can involve other beings.
