The moral of the story is don't trade faces with any one to fight your own demons.
I'm sure this will help: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Face/Off

'If you go the distance, good will triumph over evil' seems to be the moral of the movie. That there is good and evil in all of us and Hollywood expected the good in us to overlook the fact that Nick Cage and John Travolta, after undergoing extreme makeover surgeries, could in their new disguises...find the bomb ...and teach the federal agent yet another lesson. The sub theme would have to be - if you look too hard at anything, you won't enjoy it at all....are you really doing this for school?

I saw the movie quite a while ago. But to my recollection the movie was about a bad man and a good man whose faces were surgically switched. Moral? Was there one? The theme was how do you convince people that you are really the good guy when you look like the bad guy. Sub theme? Dunno. I go to movies to be entertained, not to pick them apart.

I think it is pretty much a look at how a FBI man who is obsessed with catching the criminal who killed his son isn't available to his family. After switching places with him he realizes that he should have taken the desk job rather than taking his last assignment thus, placing his arch-nemesis at his home with his wife and daughter. Go to IMDB if you need anymore info. This was a great movie either way, one of Cage and Travolta's best. They tend to mock themselves as Travolta (while playing Castor Troy in Archer's body, knocks his own double chin and love handles, showing himself to be a good sport).

That's three questions! The moral (I think) is that you can change your looks, but not WHO you are. Principal theme.. good vs evil, good wins. Sub theme..crime doesn't pay? I don't know! You can over analyze a movie you know!!
